About Us
Welcome to Padre Pio Academy where faith, family, and formation come together.
We’re not your typical school. As a Catholic hybrid academy, we blend the personal attention of homeschooling with the structure, community, and academic excellence of a private school. It’s the best of both worlds.
Students attend class on campus three days a week, engaging in rich instruction and meaningful peer interaction. On home days, parents take the lead - with clear assignments and guidance - honoring their God-given role as the primary educators of their children. From grade reports to graduation, we provide a full academic experience while keeping family life at the center.
It’s not just school. It’s school, re-imagined.

Our Mission
It is the mission of Padre Pio Academy to support and assist homeschooling parents in the Catholic education of their children under the patronage of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. We will supplement, in a classroom setting, the education that parents are providing at home, thus making a high quality, low-cost Catholic education available to all. PPA focuses on academic excellence and character development for each student, while empowering parents as primary educators to maintain an active role in their child’s education.
In accord with the mission statement of the St. John’s Religious Education Department, we strive to instill in each child an abiding love of God and neighbor, using our Blessed Mother Mary as our model and guide. We work to impart to each child the doctrines of our faith in its fullness, as both knowledge to be learned and a life to be lived.
Seton Home Study Curriculum
At PPA, our academic program is built on the trusted foundation of the Seton Home Study Curriculum - recognized for its strong Catholic identity and high academic standards. This proven framework allows us to offer a faithful, rigorous education that forms both the mind and the soul.
Teachers who love Jesus
and the Catholic Faith
Our teachers are chosen for their expertise, passion, and commitment
to Catholic education. Each instructor brings strong qualifications and subject-area knowledge, with many holding advanced degrees. More importantly, every teacher at PPA shares a common mission: to uphold high academic standards while nurturing the moral and spiritual development of each student.
Two Home Days Each Week
Parents, as the primary educators of their children, are an important part
of the hybrid model. The two home days each week offer a special time for parents to oversee homework and participate in the education of their children without the challenge of doing it alone. The balance of family and school time is one reason the hybrid model is so successful.
